Call for Participating Youth Artists: Collective Practice Project
Design//Dream//Dance

Toronto Dance Love-In’s Collective Practice Project Design//Dream//Dance encourages youth participants to dream of their perfect “dance” class. Participants draw upon lived experiences and other movement practices to design their dream practice for movement leadership. It seeks to create a dance space that is affirming, accessible and expansive and is invested in every body’s creativity. This Collective Practice Project is facilitated by Rowan-Muriel.
Who is this for?
Toronto Dance Love-In is prioritizing applications from local youth movers ages 12+. This project is for leaders in any kind of movement practice and those interested in education.
Participants can expect:
Three 90 minute sessions in total
2 Focus group sessions (hybrid online and in-person depending on participants needs)
1 Movement session in between the two talking sessions where participants will be implementing their designed workshop
Accessibility support and partial participation is available
